My Favorite Memory: On the day of my arrival, while Mr. Tillett picked me up from the airport, on the way back to the children’s home, we ran into a bunch of kids who just got off from school. They saw us and rushed into the car. The car was fully packed. It was a warm welcome!

University of Dayton heads to Belize with A Broader View Volunteers. | Volunteer Abroad News

In January 2011 A Broader View hosted 12 students from the University of Dayton in Belize. Volunteering at the orphanage was an eye opener for many of the students, some of whom have never traveled outside of the USA. During their one week project the group worked incredibility hard and really made a strong impact by completing the green house project, assisting with the new planting schedule, and also painting a mural on the little girls dorm room.
